Congratulations to Dr Stefan Diesing (pictured) and Dr Junyi Gong for completing their PhDs in the OSC and graduating today.

The festival of Algae

This week Aswin is attending the festival of Algae in Manchester. Here he has presented a poster of his work “Wavelength tunable light sources for growing algae”.

Today we had a rare change of venue for our weekly coffee meeting. We gathered at the old students union cafe for warm drinks and interesting discussions.

Improved OLED uniformity

Congratulations to Mina, Hassan, and Kou on the publication of their article on improving the uniformity of OLED emission. This is important for many applications including wearable light sources for medicine.
