Sibbett Memorial Lecture 2026 – Donna Strickland
Last week the school had the pleasure of welcoming Professor Donna Strickland, Nobel Laureate in Physics 2018, for the Sibbett Memorial Lecture 2026.
In her talk, “From Nonlinear Optics to High-Intensity Laser Physics,” Professor Strickland shared both her personal scientific journey and the development of the research that ultimately led to her Nobel Prize, while highlighting key advances in high-intensity laser physics.
