TayHealthTech Gathering
Last week, Dr Hassan Hafeez and Andrew Docherty participated in the TayHealthTech Gathering at the Apex Hotel in Dundee.
Their project, which focuses on the development of a wearable device for photodynamic therapy, has been selected for funding by TayHealthTech. During the event, Dr Hafeez presented a short overview of the project, highlighting its aims and potential applications.
The team also hosted an exhibition stall, where Andrew and Dr Hafeez introduced the technology to attendees and discussed the device with members of the healthcare innovation community. The event brought together researchers in health sciences, clinicians from hospitals, representatives from biotech companies, and other stakeholders working in related fields.
The project attracted considerable interest, with several attendees expressing enthusiasm about the device and its potential future applications.
